Most specifically, the Saab 9-3 Viggen, the Saab 99(especially Daily Turismo’s Draken...), the Saab 9000 Aero, and the Saabaru. I’ve kind of fallen in love with swedes since me discovering how awesome Volvos are...

My buddy has a Saab 9-3 with about 18k miles on it (great aunt's car, never left the garage). It's a fantastic car, with the world's most complicated passenger cupholder. I'm always amazed that Saab managed to slip a great interior like that by GM.

Well, they managed to slip a Saab Developed SatNav, awesome cupholders, awesome engines, the Viggen, and managed to make a Trailblazer tolerable in european standards through GM penny pickers

SAABs are just so great. My friend isn't even an enthusiast and he loves the 2.0T power.

I looked at a 9-3 while car shopping. The 07-09 9-3s had an issue with intake valve wear that would eventually prevent the car from gaining compression while cold, making it impossible to start until you pulled the head and replaced the valves. It was fixed by later in 09 but it made me very wary. Sadly the 05-07 cars also had the early Ecotec issues with timing chain guides so the only really solid cars to buy were the 10-12s, and those can be hard to find. Still, find a solid 2010 or 2011 and you have a really great car for likely significantly less than a comparable Audi.

Volvos have a profound effect on people. That’s why we have three!

Also, my dad had a 92 Saab 900S Convertible. Was an awesome car. He loved it. Until it spontaneously combusted in our driveway.

I have both Volvo (2010 S40 T5 R-Design) and Saab (1987 900 SPG). Your lust is not unfounded.

My dad drives a Viggen. Driving wise, it’s fun. Quality wise, it’s meh. He had an OG 900 before it, same story.

I’ve also had an OG 900S and NG 900S. Saabs are interesting cars, but ultimately just not worth the headache of owning.
